Australian Import Permit Granted!09/17/2009 We are proud to announce the acquisition of an import permit for organic Vitazyme by our distributor in Australia. Here is a PDF of the permit. AQIS Permit AQIS is the Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service, and arm of the government that controls all imports to the nation. We have been working to find a way to have a permit granted for over a year now. Since Vitazyme is made in a fermentation process, and typically has stray harmless microbes present, it was not allowed to be imported with variations in microbial populations from batch to batch. Finally a solution was found that allowed us to sterilize the finished product inexpensively, and once documented that it had killed off any stray microbes, we were able to sucessfully submit the application to AQIS. NASAA Certification The National Association for Sustainable Agriculture, Australia(NASAA) is Australia's leading organic certifier. Prior to the final application to AQIS our distributor was able to get Vitazyme certified as a NASAA organic input. Organic Farming Systems We would like to introduce our Australian distributor, Organic Farming Systems. They can be found at www.organicfarming.com.au contact information can be found there. Give them a ring and ask how you can get your Vitazyme!
Seriously though, we would like to extend our thanks to Steven and Sue and all the rest at Organic Farming Systems for all their hard work leading to both NASAA certification and the AQIS import permit for Vitazyme. We are all excited about bringing the best biostimulant in the world to Australia!
