Vitazyme on Apples – 2011, Wapti Fundo Marengo, Chile

This Gala apple trial in Chile showed that Vitazyme at both 2 and 3 liters/ha, applied before coloration, improved the color significantly at 2 liters/ha but markedly at 3 liters/ha. Because of the color improvement, more apples were able to be harvested during the first harvest on February 18, 4% more with the 2 liter/ha application and 32% more with the 3 liter/ha treatment. The total yield was not affected by Vitazyme because of the late application of the product during the growth cycle.
