Vitazyme on Grapes – 2008, Sunny Mecca, California
Vitazyme applied to three table grape varieties in the Coachella Valley of California, using four applications, improved the quality markedly with the Flame and Sugraone varieties. These grapes were deeper and more evenly colored than the control treatments alongside, amd were a size larger. The Perlette grapes showed a bit more crispness of the fruit, but were produced on old vines that were removed after har- vest; the unthrifty growth of this old stock is likely the reason for a less intensive response from Vitazyme.
